This Lure was designed specifically for anglers targetting Yellowfin and Southern Bluefin Tuna in the southern parts of Australia. The classic bullet design features a full lead insert for additional weight, and the chrome mirror finish throws off a bright flash underwater – an effective strike trigger for sharp-eyed predators.
The Sniper can be run anywhere behind the boat and is a very easy lure to use. Just “set it and forget it” – until the rods load up and the reels start screaming, that is! Although it was designed for Tuna, the Sniper also makes a great lure for other pelagic species including Albacore, Marlin, Sailfish, Mackerel, Wahoo, Bonito and Kingfish. The Sniper is fitted with 6.5″ skirts and does the most damage when set long at the back of the pattern, where it often picks off the biggest fish in the pack.
