Great quality straps that can be used for loading kayaks onto roof racks and many other applications.
- Tensioning strap to be used with either the specifically designed sling or the existing rope handle which maybe on the craft.
- Attach the stainless steel snap hook (the one close to the metal cam buckle) directly onto the loop of the kayak sling (or handle)
- Locate on the vehicle a suitable anchorage point (eg: tow hook) and attach the other stainless steel snap hook to it.
- Position the wear sleeve on the strap so this ensures added protection against the bumper bar or any sharp edges.
- Pull the handle of the strap down until the desired tension is achieved. Be careful at this stage not to over tension the strap and damage the craft.
- Tie off excess webbing so it is suitably secured.
