Nomad Maverick Floating Roughwater
The Maverick is designed as a casting lure, this is a combination of a popper and floating stickbait and something Nomad have worked hard on for the ultimate balance and action.
*The Maverick 230mm is supplied unrigged. We recommend using 2 x 11/0 or 12/0 BKK DEEP 6X hooks on the belly, rigged back to back, and a Nomad Inline 11/0 single on the tail. Alternately, a pair of 6/0 BKK GT Rex barbless trebles should be used.

The Maverick is designed as a casting lure, this is a combination of a popper and floating stickbait and something Nomad have worked hard on for the ultimate balance and action. The cupped head and air chambers going through to the underside of the body have been dsigned for force bubbles along the side of the body, creating the unique roll and wiggle swimming action.
It can be worked in a walk the dog style, as a swimming stickbait with a wild action, as a popper or fast across the surface with an erratic action that drives GT's spanish mackerel, kingfish and tuna crazy. Made with foam filled HD ABS plastic and a stainless steel plate through the body.
The calmwater and roughtwater versions have the weights placed at different internal locations to make the lure more suit to either calm or rough conditions.
