Marketing Manager/Social Media Team Member
We are looking for an experienced person to facilitate EDM email marketing activities within MoTackle & Outdoors, this is a full-time permanent in house role located in Coffs Harbour NSW
The key focus for this hands-on role is to deliver exceptional social and marketing EDM programs for our fishing and camping departments online and in-store.
At MoTackle & Outdoors we live eat and breathe all things fishing and camping, we are the largest fishing tackle shop in Australia with a huge range of fishing tackle and outdoors gear including but not limited to fishing, camping, hiking, spearfishing, Surfing. (www.motackle.com.au)
The successful applicant must have proven experience in the marketing and media space, with excellent communication & proven knowledge surrounding marketing and advertising including but not limited to social media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing 2 Email marketing newsletters per week, with the use of Photoshop suite. (Mac computers)
- Assist with marketing assets and promotions instore and online.
- Assisting with the creative direction of visual content and Ads.
- Communication with our team to ensure seamless marketing campaigns across all forms of media including TV and radio advertising.
- Google: AdWords management - Experience preferred not essential
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
- A demonstrated passion and knowledge for effective campaign management - Experience preferred not essential.
- Proficiency in analytical and reporting tools essential - Facebook Ads Manager - Experience preferred not essential.
- Knowledge of Facebook algorithm, ranking factors and search engine algorithms - Experience preferred not essential.
- Exceptional communication skills including verbal, written.
- High attention to detail, with a can-do attitude.

Fishing Store Retail Attendant
As a Fishing Store Retail Attendant and customer service representative, you will:
- Be willing and able to work weekdays and weekends.

Online Customer Services Representative
As a customer service representative, you will:
- Work within our mail order team helping our online customers choose the best products and receive the best service they need to enjoy the outdoors
- Have exceptional customer service whether you are on the phone, email, live chat or social platforms
- Provide expert product advice across our entire fishing and outdoors range. Training will be provided in the areas you aren’t familiar with
- Display excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be very comfortable working with computers and software such as Office and Retail Express
- Have a passion for the outdoors that comes through within your customer service

Preferred, but not necessary:
- Specific experience working within the camping, surfing, diving or fossicking industry

Inventory Controller/Point of Sale Operator
About you:
We are seeking an Inventory Controller/Point of sale operator with previous experience in managing inventory, in a large capacity. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of inventory practices, be a team player, is self-motivated, able to work unsupervised, and have a culture for continuous improvement and accurate data.
The Role:
This role provides support to online and receiving, you will possess strong time management skills and attention to detail. You will be required to liaise purchasing, instore, and the online team surrounding stocktaking. You will be responsible for conducting rolling stocktakes throughout our store.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Inventory management and stock control, including stock counts, on a very large range of products.
Assist staff with troubleshooting point of sale system.
Maintaining an active database with approx. 60,000 active SKU’s
- Previous experience with point-of-sale retail express, experience is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with magento is highly desirable.
- Fishing and Outdoor Product knowledge will be highly desirable
