The HideUp Pylon 84 Floating Pencil is designed for topwater action. The lure comes equipped with 2 free moving balancers that not only accentuates the roll action of the lure, but act as rattlers to create commotion to attract its intended target.On a crank-pause-crank retrieve pattern, the lure will produce a walk-the-dog action, as it swims from left to right, making it ideal for working in calm conditions.
In less calm conditions, the Pylon 84 is best worked by on a jerk-pause pattern, which will make the lure dive below the surface and rise quickly to the surface, creating surface commotion as its pops to the surface.When stationary, the lure stands almost vertically up right at 80 degrees with its head prominently out of the water, making it easy to spot from a distance.
